Today is National Handwriting Day. I grew up hating my handwriting, but I’m learning to love it again.
And for the record, I really like the new Carman Sandiego Netflix animated series.
My daughter just asked Alexa “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?” And Alexa gave us a clue.
I’m intrigued by DuckDuckGo. I’ve used it off and on, but now I’m switching all my default search engines and I’ll see if I like it.
I miss Gowalla.
Apple Music feature I’d pay extra for… a “kids in the car” mode that automatically skips the songs marked explicit. 🙉
Had a meeting at my daughter’s middle school to discuss high school next year. High school today is very similar to my college experience 25 years ago.
I thought the season 2 premiere of Star Trek: Discovery was outstanding. This cast and these characters are phenomenal. Can’t wait to see where they take the show next.🖖

My sleep pattern has been seriously disrupted this week. And now, I’m at a point where both I’m exhausted and can’t sleep. Sigh.
One of the things I love about graduate school is how often I find myself completely outside my comfort zone.
All the cardio machines at the gym were taken so I did some weight work tonight. I forgot how much I like lifting weights.
First class of the semester this morning. History of Mass Media. Taking two classes this semester since I’m not teaching.
I find that I’m more productive in some coffee shops than others.
So far in 2019, I’m predominately using Micro.Blog (cross posting to Twitter) and Instagram (cross posting to Facebook). It’s working pretty well so far.

I stayed up way too late last night watching South Carolina 🏀 shock Mississippi State in overtime. And then I was to hyped to go to sleep. Going to be a long day.
When faced with a day of meetings, start the day with quality coffee. Long days call for strong coffee.
