📚 I'm currently reading Beautiful Evidence by Edward Tufte.
(And I'm really curious if emoji will work with Micro.Blog and my Squarespace setup.)

I'm currently in the middle of a project to design a shirt each week and blog about it. This week's shirt is a vector illustration of my first camera, an X-700.
Today is Micro Monday on the Micro.Blog side of the internet. I enjoy following everyone's favorite random Star Trek podcaster, Scott McNulty, a.k.a. @blankbaby, who's recently made the trek over to this alternate social media universe.
Really impressed with Star Trek Discovery tonight. Loved all the twists and turns.
I guess the upside of this insomnia is that I'm getting some writing done. But being up this late is going to make for a long day tomorrow.
Looking forward to the winter premiere of Star Trek Discovery tomorrow night. I really enjoyed the first half of the season. Looking forward to where they go next.
I use inline links with Micro.Blog all the time, but I keep forgetting that I can use bold and italic, too.
I used artboards in Photoshop today for the first time. Interesting. I probably won't need them much with the way I work, but I can see how they could be very useful.
I grew up in suburban Chicago, but I've lived in South Carolina long enough, that I've forgotten how to exist when it's this cold.
We had some flurries... and now, it looks like the "snowstorm" is over.
First day back in the office after being off for two-and-a-half weeks. Need. More. Coffee.
I'll probably work all these quotes from The Last Jedi into normal conversation. Except 14 and 17. Those are kind of stupid. Warning: Obviously, this is spoiler territory..
Everyone remembers Clowney's hit against Michigan in the Outback Bowl four years ago. But most people don't remember the play before, or what happened next. This SBNation post breaks it down.
I've switched on Micro.Blog crossposting for Twitter. Looking forward to changing how I use social media in 2018.
Happy New Year, everyone. Looking forward to 2018.
Got to see Gamecock Women’s Basketball come from behind to beat Texas A&M on New Years Eve. Crazy game. Great atmosphere.
I loved the feature on StarWars.com about BB-9E, the evil version of BB-8 from The Last Jedi.
Alligators and turtles.
Merry Christmas from Team Wertz.
We've got a couple of last minutes gifts we need to buy and some grocery shopping to finish, so I've got to brave the crazy holiday traffic. Wish me luck...
